Ive owned this same bass for 7 years and i absolutely love it. every now and then i think about trading it but im afraid i wont find another 6 string for the buck like this beast! cheers!!

I just tried this in a shop. Wasn't even looking for a 6er(I play 5). I was drawn to this on sight. it plays and feels so good! I played chords, slap, tap, pick and finger. Even harmonics!
Sustained for days. More than likely buying it if I can't find a 5er I like.
Lots of shops are limited on stock due to covid 😩

I just purchased one off of musicians friend, I just got it two days ago. Took it to a gig but didn’t pull it out to play. I played everything in this particular band from 70s dance/disco, two current R&B and soul, to hard rock, Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses, Tom Petty etc. as well as jazz à la John Pattitucci, Andrew Gouche, etc. I am certainly not at their level but I play all those different genres of music, even a tiny little bit of country in this particular band, just a few songs. I pay play both finger and slap and I don’t ever use a pic.

I will say it is a beautiful bass, you’re right, very large and wide fingerboard, but the base is also pretty heavy. My other six string bass which is an Ibanez is about half the weight. But it’s solid and it’s a beautiful base. I’ll let you know as I introduce it more and more into gigs

Late to the comments. I actually really enjoy mine. In college I played upright and when I took my electric 6 string (ESP LTD B-206) to the guy who used to fix up my upright, he thought I underpaid. He thought the instrument was well built, though admittedly he isn't big on electronics. He only understands the construction as he makes uprights and guitars as a business/hobby. His main job is instrument repair. Anyway, he turned my electric into a fretless and I never looked back. It has a great sound and a great feel. He used maple resin to fill in the fret gaps. Totally worth it. I play jazz if wondering.
