Digimon Adventure: is a new take on the original series set in modern times. It isn't confirmed for a Western release yet, but this reimagining of the original DigiDestined's adventure will start broadcasting in Japan on April 5, 2020.

It's not a re-boot or a Redo of Season 1 of Digimon, it's more like an "Alternate Dimension/Timeline" so things are going to happen and play out very very differently. For 1, Kari is in the mix from the very start, and all the Digi-Destined likely won't operate in one big group but as smaller sub-factions. The digimon might also Digivolve to different forms throughout their Digivolution Chains. Can't wait for this.
