Leica x Fujifilm Wedding Photography Kit | M10, GFX, X100V, X-E4

Over the last few months, I’ve made a lot of Leica and Fujifilm videos. As I was putting together my bags for a last-minute wedding this coming weekend, I figured I'd film my decision-making process.

Well, it was POURING right before the ceremony. Switched to Fuji for a bit and then grabbed the Leicas once it calmed down. Actually worked out perfectly

If you want the same focal lengths as your Leica kit. You could the wide angle converter for the x100v, turns the 23mm to a 18mm. Then you could tick the xe4 with the 35mm f2 or 1.4

Can't wait to hear your thoughts and see your shots from the GFX 50R. If you end up liking it, you should definitely try the 50mm f3.5, as its tiny (for GFX), balances way better, and the IQ is still incredible.

9 years ago I brought the original X100 after reading a review you wrote and seeing your photographs. Recently, I just happened to come across your YouTube channel and are psyched to see you are still working the Fuji gear!

Wow. You would think that with the chaos of wedding activities having to juggle that much gear for one person or even a small team would affect the focus paid to the wedding itself. Personally, I'd pare down that kit EXTENSIVELY and try to be as nimble as possible. BUT that's just me. 🤗 Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the video. I shoot weddings only with GFX50R (110 and 45) and save up for a Leica M10. I actually have an R6 for Backup but i dont like the camera. It is more a computer for me.
You're right: The 110 is not balancing well on the GFX50R Body. The new 80 1.7 will be better.

Can’t wait for more GFX videos. That 110mm seems to be incredible. It’s like the 56mm 1.2 but on a much larger sensor.

I agree with previous comment of adding a Q2. Water proof. Macro option. For the pouring rain, if it is your only option, might as well going with another Leica with great resolution and great lens

Thanks for sharing your Leica plus Fuji wedding kit.
I enjoyed comparing it to my Fuji plus Leica wedding kit.

My Fuji wedding kit consists of two Fuji X mirrorless bodies with 23mm f/1.4 for my main lens, 56mm f/1.2 for my telephoto, and 16mm f/1.4 for my wide-angle. I also have a 12mm f/2.8 Zeiss when I need something wider and an adapted 135mm f/2 Zeiss when I need something longer.

I also have a third Fuji X mirrorless body with 16-55mm f/2.8 zoom and 50-140mm f/2.8 zoom as a backup.

Recently, I purchased a Leica M10 to use with the three lenses (21mm f/1.4 Summilux, 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss Distagon, and 90mm f/2 Summicron) that I already owned. I have not yet had the chance to use the Leica at a wedding but will if I start shooting weddings again.

Nice kit .. I can't stop thinking that if I was in your shoes I would sell all the fuji gear and get a Q2 ... weather-shield, good autofocus, possibly to crop in the file if needed, f1.7 .. look consistency .. that and the 2 M10 's and you would be sorted ? a lighter bag can only be good ..ahah
