People love to sag black women down with kids! It should be no surprise that more black women have decided to remain childfree considering how many single moms are In our community. Black single moms are treated horribly, yet they constantly want more of us to sign up for it! I literally just had a girl in her 20s tell me I look so young (I’m 37), and when I told her that I’m childfree, she said, “no wonder you look so young lmao) 🤣

I recently told a guy who was trying to flirt with me that I don’t want kids. He looked genuinely confused and asked if I was planning to be a nun. The look on his face said it was an honest question. He didn’t realize there were more options other than ‘mother’ and ‘nun.’ Ps, he had four kids.

I'm 54 years young with no kids. I knew in highschool, I never wanted kids. I didn't want the responsibility. No regrets. Kudos to those that do.

I'm 46 and Childfree. It's wonderful. Being able to travel, experiencing new things, meeting new people, saving money and my favorite, THE PEACE AND QUIET!!! Parenthood is not for everyone. It's a lifetime commitment and is the hardest job to ever take on. I have great respect for parents. Having the freedom to develop myself is various ways is exhilarating ❤

It took me working as a teacher to realize I didn’t want kids. And this is true for a few other women that I know 😂. The amount of kids I’ve had that come from homes with parents that have no business having kids is just sad.

Same here! I’m 29, single, and child free. I don’t need anymore stressors in my life that the world hasn’t already caused for me.
