As an ayurveda students i have to correct u nd want to say something - 1st of all leech therapy is mentioned in susruta samhita and it is not used for 2 full weeks or all the time nd it is not a painful treatment.
2nd- there are different types of leeches so a good vaidya(Dr.) can differentiate between them nd then use.
3rd- in ayurveda it is also contraindicated in many disease like in anemia.
4th- the same leech is not applied to other patient nd one leech is not used again nd again.
There is a full step by step process like how it is use, where it is used nd where not, for how much or how many times it is used, how to choose leech for treatment nd so on.
5th- why u gys want us to choose harsh chemical or medicine when we have our own natural nd safe treatments??.
So what if it is an ancient knowledge. it is well researched. plz don't misguide people.🙏

Your information is incorrect. Leech 2 weeks tk nhi rkhni hoti hain .. proper sitting, procedures and precautions are to be taken .. no regular leeches are used only particular leeches are taken and various procedures se guzrna pdta hau leech ko .. pls read about it thoroughly !
