What is your favorite modifier to create this beautiful natural light? And do you prefer white or silver linings inside modifiers?

Oh dear lord she says turn the power of your light down to soften the light lol. The watts seconds of power do not change the texture or type of softness that comes out of the light lol. The one thing she fails to tell the newbies that will help them obtain soft light is the small shooting space she is using with the white walls to bounce all that light around in the room that creates extra fill with non directional soft light. 2nd She fails to mention she is using a shoot through umbrella also that spills soft light out from the back of the umbrella into the white walled room further softening the light. 3rd she is using a diffuser panel in front of the umbrella forming what is known as 360 degree soft box of sorts. The small room combined with 360 degree soft light source with white walled room all make a lot of light bounce around to truly produce soft window non directional light source. She is basically telling newbies a few of her tricks but not telling them the biggest secrets on how to achieve that soft non directional light look.

Thank you a lot for your tips! A tip in return... please avoid reflection in glasses... it was for me a bit unconfortable to watch an eye covered with reflection and the other eye as it should be.... greetings from 🇨🇭

This can be condensed down to: "Use a soft light (1, 2) from a pleasing direction relative to the babys face (5) and expose correctly (3, 4)."
Regarding exposure, is the picture @1:42 supposed to be a good or a bad example?
A warning, when a youtube teacher start talking about avoiding harsh lighting, that usually means they don´t really understand the difference between hard light, contrasty light and exposure and you might as well tune them out at that point.
