Onyx Moto / 2016 Yamaha R1 / Sport Bike Walk Around Clip

In 2015 Yamaha reinvented the YZF-R1 with an all-new engine, plus an incredible array of electronics lifted from the MotoGP racetracks. Buried in the R1 is a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit that gives the traction control, slide control, anti-wheelie control, quickshifter, launch control, and linked ABS all a better idea of exactly what the bike is doing while they are doing their fully adjustable jobs.

This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also mounted and balanced a new set of tires.

We're pleased to present this R1 featured in Team Yamaha blue bodywork and matching blues wheels. Brought to us by it's only owner with only six thousand miles, there are some basic goodies already installed-- such as the auto-blip kit from FTECU that activates the fast clutch-less downshifting.
