Sometimes, I feel like an idiot. Then I watch one of Funk's vids and suddenly feel a lot better about myself.

The boss is the guy NOT under the truck.

"Whatever you think you're doing you could have done with the truck still on the ground." That comment is gold!

They aren't just shaking hands with danger. They're bear hugging it.

That's insane. That chain is dinky. I use chains bigger than that just to pull autumn olive trees out with the tractor.

I've been a trucker for almost twenty five years and I've seen a lot of stupid sh!t, but this is on a different level. Never seen anyone do something this dangerous. Great video 👍🚛

I drive a semi truck. I regularly get engine grease and soot and debris on every little bit of clothing I own I have literally brushed rust out from my hair. There is not a day hot enough, a part dirty enough, nor an amount of money imaginable by me or Quantum physicist that could even make me consider to stick my toes underneath this setup

That's taken faith in your equipment beyond the maximum. Also, I love the idea for a new segment of shaking hands with danger.

When I was a young Man a Senior fellow Steel Worker Imparted some of his wisdom on me. He told me; " Dead Men work under Crane Lifts" That Conversation 25 years ago came to mind from this Short. Thank You .T. K.

This was a phenomenal attempt at a Darwin award. Great plan if they keep performing like this the Darwin award will be theirs eventually.

I have an overhead bridge crane over my bay that I use daily. I over spec'd it so it has twice the capacity of my heaviest realistic project. As comfortable as I am with it, and all my slings and lift chains, i still dont ever get underneath anything that is hanging from above.

These guys are the reason for the warning labels on so many things. Unfortunately they can’t read.

Not to mention the chain is in the "death triangle". With the chain in this arrangement, the tow points are holding almost double the weight as they would be compared to a upside-down V arrangement. Also zero redundancy if the chain snaps.

the chain is an incredible testament on the quality from the manufacturer. every link is incredibly strong 💪
