I love that the vibe here is largely "Band kids turned punk" with crazy hair and clothes, and then you just have this Wall Street banker looking dude absolutely shredding a trombone.

These guys need a half time show at the super bowl. How can you not want to dance

The original funkytown video was how I discovered this band way back in middle school. Stay awesome

As a Bari sax player, seeing 3 bari's makes my day.

My dude with the mullet was in a world all his own!!! The energy was contagious, the music was AMAZING!! And everyone's passion could not be denied. Wish I could've seen these guys in person!!

These are the moments of Leo that I wish more people saw. His street performances are always such a treat.
Edit: that trombone player slays, sheesh!

Those trombone bits, though? Literal goosebumps every time!! A+!!!

After 37 years of working for NYCTA and retiring, Now spending 6 months of the year in New Orleans and finding the soul of Nola in instruments of brass. Seeing this Krewe belting out music like this in the Subway on 34th St brings a smile to my face and warms the heart. Living upstate NY the other 6 months with occasional forays into the Big Apple, I’m reminded of why a big part of my heart will always belong to NYC. Great performance peeps! Rock On! 👍🏻🍻❤️😎

Pointdexter blowing out the crap of his trombone was amazing!
Three Bariton saxophones (wich I play myself, but not like that) duelling each other -WOW
The whole group made my day!!!

If I'm ever on my way to work and Lucky Chops are playing in the subway, I will absolutely be late to work.

This is how I found out about Lucky Chops. I'm glad they're still playing for the masses in public spaces. Unfortunately, I've never seen them play live but I can imagine how the vibes of those horns would penetrate body and soul.

Don't forget the percussions. A good percussionist can make or break a band. He lays the foundation they can groove on.😊

The talent on display here is just completely insane. I would find very difficult to watch during a minute, and move on. I would stay there for the complete show, even if it meant for me to be fired. Damn, I just love the good vibes. These lads deserve a lot more recognition.

The amount of feeling they all have for each other is just energizing. Just all looks so natural and easy.

This isn’t *just* Lucky Chops. It’s LC, plus Too Many Zooz, plus Moon Hooch. It’s Lucky Moon Zooz. Too much funk!
