In this lesson, the forces on an inclined plane are discussed. The components parallel to, and perpendicular to the incline are discussed. Friction on the inclined plane is introduced next. Finally, the equation for finding the coefficient of friction betwen two materials (u=Tan(Theta)) is derived and followed by an example calculation.
