I literally drove through Times Square on one of the first days of the COVID lockdowns and it was, in fact, this empty. It took me two minutes at most. I'd driven through there before and it took half an hour just to reach the traffic light.

I've lived in NYC all my life and that was the only time I EVER saw it empty.

At this moment of filming I was asleep in the Milford Plaza hotel, in a room that faced towards Times Square. If I had known this was gonna be filmed I’d have looked out the window and I’d have seen him run past 45th street between Marriot and Leo Lindsey’s (basically when he first starts running from his car and looks right down 45th 👌🏻

How did they film this anyway? i don't think anyone would really go and hide when they shot this, not sure how many people back in the day are in this but i sure as hell that's a logistic nightmare to tell them to hide for the filming. this really ain't CGI either at least I don't think. I have not seen anything on how they pulled this off. the only thing that i could think of is the first one. but again, logistic nightmare
