“Abaré”
The word comes from the native language of Brasil “Tupi-Guarani” and it means “friend” or friendly person, I chose this title as this rhythm was developed by me to study movements and patterns that can enhance and help each other to play.
It was created purely as a musical motive for contínuos movement with fluidity as its main component.
It also has a “water” or under water quality to it.
The video you see is for my students to practice and learn, however this should be played as part of an orchestration with :
3 Berimbaus
1 deep sound Atabaque
2 Pandeiros
1 Agôgô
1 Reco Reco
8 extra Caxixis
