Simply Three - Better Days (original song)

The title track of our album, Better Days, is a song that had a pretty unique beginning. It all started when Glen started playing the opening hook you hear during a sound check. It caught Zack’s ear and we vowed to make it song at some later point. With some changes to the hook we started to write and the melody kind of came pretty easily. It’s nice when songs just put themselves together. After playing this song as well as some other ones from the album during live shows this one is clearly the fan favorite.

As for the video, the idea came to us the day before our video shoot. We had bounced around several ideas for weeks and nothing really felt right. We were out at dinner the night before our shoot when the idea came to us. We thought it was pretty funny and we figured we haven’t done a video like this before so why not give it a shot. Most of the time if there is a story line to our videos it seems to be more on the serious/dark side. It was fun to think of something silly and lighthearted. Hope you all enjoy.
