Had mine 3 years now. I’ve done 42k in it and my accountant told me last week it’s cost £14, 000 in fuel for those miles. Mixture of long motorways commutes, road trips in the UK and Europe, Ring trips and general B road bashing.

People forget that you are buying a £65k car and it costs proper money to maintain properly.

I just had my serviced and new tyres set me back 1400quid. Well worth it. A modern classic as feels like a dinosaur compared to modern cars. Glad u like the frozen grey. My is frozen silver. All the frozen colours a lush.

How can he say it costs £90-£100 for a tank of fuel? I’ve had my E92 M3 for a year and it’s never cost over £75. Anyone watching this video who is now scared to own one don’t be. If you drive it daily normally in drive with no red lining they really aren’t as bad on fuel as what people say! Obviously when you’re in M Mode racing then it drinks. But day to day not an issue

E46 m3, I have owned 2 - my first one, the difference between hammering it and doing a European trip was:

150 miles full tank - when driving hard, hitting rev limit in 1st 2nd most of the time, short journeys etc.

370miles full tank - motorway driving, 70-80mph cruise control, only doing full send once. That occasion I was in France and couldn’t find a petrol garage and drove 10miles, with 0 in tank so assuming fumes into the fuel station.

That’s a real world way of looking at these cars, you can do good mpg if you drive good, on average 250 miles I found the e46 m3 did

Theyre nice but i found them quite heavy and sloppy on the steer in. My giulia 2.0 steers alot better. Engine is ofc alot less
