How to play 'Porcelain Heart' by Opeth Guitar Solo Lesson

Hi guys! Welcome to lesson 88 of Learn That Solo! Today we look at how to play the clean solo from 'Porcelain Heart' by Opeth.

Mikael Akerfeldt is friction' amazing. This isn't a 'hard' solo, however nailing the phrasing, feel and nuance is the most important thing. In my opinion that is why this is one of the best solos I've ever heard!

Hey man. It's mostly D harmonic minor which is D E F G A Bb C# D (Minor scale with raised 7th). It sort of ends on A Spanish Phrygian on what I guess would be an inferred A7 chord. Does this help dude?
