Hi in the bit you skipped over when you pushed everything back together and there was a leak how did you fix it? Just had the same happen!

Did mine today following this guide and the “read the instructions” advice. Turned out great with NO leaks. Unbelievable! Thank you for your great videos.

Ok. I messed up and pushed the pipe up too high in the cistern... the flush was stuck...
I then watched ur other video and manage to correct and fit it...

Thank you.

Although, I do think I cut the flush pipe a little too short.... il correct it shortly...

Great videos... ta

Your videos are very helpful bud. I wanted to see how you fixed the pan to the floor. My WC needs side entry fixings and I’ve tried fitting them twice now and the pan keeps lifting. I’m using the Rawl Plug side fixing kit but no matter how much I tighten it the pan still lifts. Any ideas?

I'm an apprentice plumber and was wondering, at what point during the installation of the cistern do you rummage through the customers knicker drawer?

Once again excellent advice from someone who actually knows what they are doing, we have one of these built in units, I look at the toilet seat and wonder how we can change it as we cannot get to the fittings ?
Do we need to pull out the complete pan to get access, as the fitting holding the seat is not accessible?
Well done excellent presentation.

James why don't you offer your pan on your center trace around the pan the cut you hole 15mm inside this will save all that measuring. fellow plumber of 40years

Good tutorial thanks. Did one today. Your editing makes this look like a much easier job than in reality.

Top tip: mock-up the cistern with fixing bracket to check the flush outlet is actually in the center of the cistern. I used a universal cistern, and only noticed after I'd fixed it to the wall that the bracket is not centred to the flush outlet (out by about 20mm to one side). Had to dismantle the whole thing and re-drill cistern bracket holes. Fuming!

I am literally fitting one of these this week and your video was invaluable. I will let you know how I get on as I am vanity virgin! Unlike yours the wash basin is separate from the WC and I had to do a lot of customisation to the carcass to overcome the issue of the WC waste running on the inside right where the cabinet needs go. What a pain in the arse!

hello, ,just a tought on marking out for the pan entry /exit ... everything came in a cardboard box, get a bit of the cardboard and push the back of the pan down hard on the card..you get an imprint and instant template .. cut it out and hold against the unit "tah dah " :)

i fitted the same as what your doing here, and how you got the flush pipe to stay in the pan i dont know, i battled with a leak on it for ages, it just wouldnt stay in the back of the pan you push it in and after a few seconds it just pops out, i tried fairy etc and it just wasnt having any of it, in the end i used a stanley to trim the rubber rings down slightly and put about 3 tubes of silicone on the back end lol touch wood 3 years on and it hasnt leaked but still waiting for the day cause it just wasnt staying in, so if you have a tip you can reply with for my next one id be super grateful :p

Thanks so much for this and other guides, after buying one of these as part of a bathroom suite and unpacking I had a WTF moment and was going to call a plumber but after watching this got it all done myself.

We don't typically deal with flexible lines from a toilet drain in the US. Given the ribbed edges, do they catch material and clog easily? I imagine they would. Can you auger the toilet if it is gloged given this flex line?
