Yellowcard is one of, maybe the most, underrated band of this era

Fun Fact!: I found this CD laying in a bush in 2004 outside my highschool and figured I'd see what was even on it. That was how I found Yellowcard before they were big (only one) and loved them ever since. Lmao it was the first CD I ever loved every song on and couldn't believe it.

Still one of my favorite songs to date. The bridge is my favorite part~ then the chorus.

One of my coolest rockstar memories was following Lagwagon around FL touring Blaze. Yellowcard was opening for them, and I was familiar with them because I had One For The Kids, and was a fan, but they hadn’t had their big break yet. I got to chill on their tour bus with LP and he played us some songs off this album on a pre-mastered CD. A few months later it was all over the radio. Definitely on the poppy side of my preference, but such an excellent and overall underrated band.

I've always lived in Jacksonville my whole life. We were only shocked the people associated the song with California.

High school 2004 and the whole album rocked. I listen to this and Believe when I go running at the gym still lol

Just saw them live in San Francisco last week and Lake Tahoe in the end of June and they were awesome! Hadn’t really listened to Yellowcard since probably 2005, but knew that album so well I remembered all the lyrics to the whole thing, cause on this tour they’re playing the whole album Ocean Avenue front to back with like 9 more songs too. The first time I saw them it was front to back in correct track order, the second time it was jumbled but they played everything

Way Away was the lead single on the album, and did pretty well at the time, so I’m sure lots of people would’ve heard the album!

Yellowcard has aged a lot better compared to some other bands from this wave of Pop-punk.

The fact they even use an electric Violin is also insane. What a cool concept.

They got some really good lyrics too. Pretty underrated for sure.

The song that gave me the boost to keep on playing guitar. The song that in some way connetcs my childhood memories with it.

My band iLLFX was signed to Yellowcard’s lead guitarist, Ben Harper’s label called Takeover Records. He ended up joining our band for a bit and we toured together, rocked some big ass shows and made lifetime memories. Those were some great times.

Yellowcard may just be the best punk band of all time. Paper Walls is a phenomenal album.

I was just at their concert in Seattle where 7, 000 people attended and Ryan Key talked about the bands career. They’re about to make a comeback
