Revo Uninstaller – Uninstall Things That Won’t

Показать описание
👍 Revo Uninstaller is a useful utility to remove things from your computer that won't otherwise uninstall or uninstall completely.

👍 Revo Uninstaller
Revo Uninstaller, available in free and paid versions, is a solution for incomplete or failed uninstalls. It goes beyond standard uninstalls by scanning for leftover files and registry entries. It can also uninstall Windows built-in apps. I recommend it when dealing with any uninstallation problems.

I've been using this for years also, ... not too long ago a friend of mine kept seeing pop ups and reminders from McAfee on his new laptop. He had used the MacAfee uninstall when he first used the laptop to put his preferred antivirus. Used Revo, and it was finally TOTALLY uninstalled and had no traces of it after that. Revo works great.

Been using Revo for years - it finds all registry entries etc. Windows uninstall leaves tons of crap on your system. By the PRO guys - they deserve it. 👍👍👍

100% agree to use Revo. I have done it for over 10 years. I use image backup as you suggest, but I have never seen the program to fail. I use the agressiv way (advanced) every time i uninstall programs. No problems in that so far. Revo is the first program i put on a pc afer a fresh install. Use it to clean up the programs from Windows I don't want. Happy new year to you all :-)

I too have been using Revo for many years. If I'm not mistaken I found a youtube video of Leo's years ago that talked about Revo and explained how to use it. I was impressed with his explanation so I downloaded Revo and it did a great job of getting rid of a program that I couldn't get to uninstall. I've been using it since. I use the advanced mode and it has never caused a problem. I install it on every computer I have and have always installed it on any builds or reinstalls on any computer I work on. It's so easy to use that even those who are computer illiterate can use it with confidence.

I thank you Leo for the original video as well as this one. Great information originally and a great refresher this time. BTW, I have it on my win 10 computers as well and it works just as good as it did on my previous versions of Windows. I still use Win 7 of a couple of my older computers.

Take care Leo and be well.

I had never realised I could 'select all' for the registry leftovers. After all it ticks everything, even My Computer! I've always manually ticked bolded items myself, sometimes taking quite some. A revelation for me, thanks Leo.

Been using it for years. I like to install with their install tracker if I’m unsure about a program, as it logs everything installed so everything gets removed. Regular uninstall leaves stuff behind. I also use the startup manager a lot. I know I can use task manger, but Revo more convenient.

Been using it for quite a while now. I initially had to use the paid version to delete (used hunter mode) to remove a problem program. I can't remember what it was now. Anyway, I still have that "older" paid version installed and still use it. I'm just not updating to the latest version. But it still works fine and is a great program. I may pay for the newer version just to support them. I think that's always a good idea when you have freeware that is particularly useful to you.

I have a DAW that was not working correctly with my audio interface after an update to the DAW. I uninstalled the DAW using the normal windows process and reinstalled the DAW. But no luck. Then I see your video and uninstall the DAW and its "hidden" files using Revo. And after installing the DAW once more, everything works! Thank you Leo! This is not the first time your great videos have helped me!

Got to also remember to update your backup or you may find the damn program "appears out of nowhere" again if you ever do a recover! Now we need a registry cleaner that actually works!

Another good video Leo. Just for info, I generally reimage from a backup prior to installing "test" software, rarther thasnuninstalling the software, becasue, like you said there are registry keys etc left behind. However I did try the freeware that Revo offered and it works well. I followed your video and its all good. I removed VLC and a thing called Aimersoft (DVD ripping software) and their respective "leftovers" . It appears to have done the job well. Donald. Scotland. UK.

This is terrific. I've been using it for a couple of years. It's amazing what apps leave behind when they are removed. I've always used REVO to remove these files and have NEVER experienced a problem.
