This video was posted over four years ago, so Jetbrains might have had different options back then. For PyCharm IDE: Instead of downloading the 30 day trial "Professional", I chose "Community" open source, and it seems to work well.

in case the interpreter does not get auto-filled, just go to start, search for python 3.4 or 3.5 or whatever version you're running,
right click on the python launcher( not the IDE), select properties, copy the target address and paste it where pycharm asks for the interpreter.

PLEASE come back and teach more Java Game Development. I know i'm not the only one that wants to learn Java Gaming. And Bucky, I know you want to make it and teach it as well. You've made the Java Game Development series so anticipated!

And for all of those people saying he already has one, I mean developing for some 3d, how to create a background, etc.

For people who curious: why use PyCharm IDE not IDLE?
-"PyCharm includes sophisticated heuristics for determining what each variable type is and providing autocompletion suggestions for them. "

Actually, there's also the community edition of PyCharm, which can be used as long as you like, you just don't have all features, but for regular python development it'll do just fine

Great Videos. Quick feedback, it's possible to reduce the screen resolution? The fonts is too small to read or can you zoom in as Cantasia supports zooming in and out while recording. Thanks and looking forward watching more python tutorials.

Hi, I'm using NINJA-IDE because my computer doesn't support PyCharm. There isn't any problem in writing the codes or anything, but everytime I add a new file to a project, the first line says ''# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-"... I think it's just a comment and doesn't interfere with the code, but it bothers me to start writing from the 2nd line and all. Could I delete it without getting in problems with the code?
