Thanks mate, helps a ton, just wondering, before I take half my car apart, sometimes, power cuts out for sections of my car, including head unit, overhead lights, I can make a full list of things I notice turn off, but just wondering what I should check first?

Not sure if you'll know but thought I would ask. My stock system (as shown in the video) has a damaged screen. I can get a whole compatible & operational unit from a breakers yard, the breakers yard advised me it would need coding to my vehicle. I contacted my local Nissan garage who told me it's not as simple as just swapping one from one vehicle to another and they may just try to use the screen part from the one I bought. Would a Nissan dealer not be able to replace the whole unit with the one I bought and sort the coding?
