This laughter was so out of character for the pilot it caught me by surprise. Amazing :D

There's a delightful timelessness to Farscape. Pilot, the Kermit the Frog of outer space, is nothing short of a saint, having put up with all these gits and smeg heads. But even a saint has limits, as evidenced by one of the best maniacal laughs.

That cackle made me laugh so much for some reason 😂 priceless!

I just love how of all the places she could have attached herself, she picks a spot that can be easily detached form the ship

Commuter Forecast on your travel day: Storms expected just.. for.... you.. 🤣
Also love how even the normally calm tempered Pilot is completely sick of her shit, and cant help but laugh his arse off as he dumps her into space.

Pilot was always one of my favorite characters, could be me being a sucker for how fantastic the puppetry work on him always was, but the is seriously is one of my top 2 favorite moments with him. Both out of character but arguably very much IN.

I remember watching this for the first time years ago and laughing along with Pilot. It was then I started to realize how different this show was from others. The creatures were just as important as any of the actors. I love Farscape. I pray they never reboot it and jack it all up!

Weird fact: This ep originally aired in March 2001, but in the latter half of 2001 the SciFi Channel was running nightly re-runs of the entire Farscape series, so it got a number of re-showings. In fact, according to the schedule that had been set & running weeks already, it was THIS episode that was going to be the FIRST episode of Farscape run on the SciFi channel upon the resumption of regular programming after the 9/11 attacks.
Now, understand: this is an episode about a group of terrorists who attack an enormous hub of commerce, killing huge numbers of people, and they do it because of a distorted religious hatred. So, not a great episode to show on that particular day.
And it seemed that at least one person at the SciFi channel was awake at the wheel and agreed, because the episode that actually DID air that night was one that also addressed what was on everyone's mind, but which approached it much more subtly. They aired Episode 1.8, "Rhapsody in Blue", whose theme is about how hatred and rage are dangerous and toxic and can ultimately lead to one's own self-destruction.

Here for Leeanna Walsman, she was also in Star Wars.

pilot lol. so unexpected when I first saw it. what a show!
a shame really, these kinds of shows getting a rather short run compared to long running shows based on fake reality. would have loved to see how their kid would have turned out.

I just realized she's wearing fake teeth that make them all look sharpened and gives her an even creepier look than a normal human.
