Meet Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Star Tenoch Huerta Mejía

Who is Namor? If you ask M’Baku (Winston Duke), he’s a major threat to the people of Wakanda. “His people do not call him general or king,” M’Baku says. “They call him K’uk’ulkan, the feather serpent god.” Audiences will meet Namor in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, opening exclusively in theaters on Friday, November 11. The character, who debuted as the Sub-Mariner in Marvel Comics #1 in 1939, has been reimagined for the film as the ruler of Talokan, a hidden underwater civilization. Namor is a force to be reckoned with... but don’t take our word for it! On the red carpet at D23 Expo, actor Tenoch Huerta Mejía opened up about bringing Namor into the MCU. This is bitter sweet for me because I used to talk to my Mother about Namor The Submariner all the time and how I wished for him to be in the MCU so she can fully see him, he is part of something I called my Special 8 of Marvel, which is my 8 favourite Marvel Characters, Namor used to be on some cartoons we watched when we was younger, but she knew that he was the first Marvel Character and knew of his importance and wanted to see him in the films, sadly she passed away last year and it hurts so much that this character is finally coming to the MCU and I can't watch it with her, I know she'll be there in spirit I just wish I could have seen her face.
