Megatron will always be an iconic villain in the Transformers Franchise! Also at least his anger in the movie is very understandable especially of how much he hates traitors and I love that he's best friends with Orion.

D-16 Megs I wouldn’t say is evil he had misplaced anger and what makes him a villain is he pushed things too far, sorta like Killmonger from Black Panther, some good points but takes it way far for revenge

His anger at Sentinel being a murderer and fraud being misdirected to initially blaming Orion was off putting and sorta made D’s turn feel somewhat rushed
