I get what they were going for with using the AI art to make it feel slightly inhuman ( given that we’re dealing with shapeshifting aliens ) but it really comes off as them just being lazy and not wanting to pay artists, at least the music is good

The truth behind AI model is that it “learns” EVERYTHING from internet,
if anyone doesn't believe this, try to type any popular movie name as a prompt into any AI generate service website,
type like Spider-Man, Bat man, etc., and see what you got.
If AI model didn't learn from copyright content, how could this happen?

People lose their job not because the technology grows,
it's because AI model took their work result without asking them, even worse,
how does a small artist prove in court that his work has been absorbed into a HUGE AI model?
Maybe people can never take back the right that belongs to them in the beginning.

Just a heads up to anyone who hasn't seen the actual intro, this isn't it. This video cuts out all the parts of the intro with credits, and then patches the fragments back together in a super weird way. The actual intro is way smoother than this, and a lot nicer.

Even if the goal was to intentionally use the off-putting nature of AI art to set a surrealist dark uncanny valley tone this is just horribly shot. There's no cinematography at all, no transitions or anything that would make it interesting to go from one shot to another.
