Crash in oil prices sends global stocks tumbling

On Wall Street, trading was halted shortly after markets opened on Mar 9, after stocks dropped sharply in the aftermath of the crash in oil prices. Trading was halted for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in Singapore, the STI closed down 6 per cent. Vasu Menon, Executive Director for Investment Strategy at OCBC Bank, shared his views on the current volatile markets.
