The traditional stringed instrument (Ribab) being played by a Moroccan on top of Ait Benhaddou - We spent 2 amazing weeks in Morocco, enjoying the people, their customs and its age-old culture. It wasn't enough. Shukran!

The Berber-Amazigh Ribab is an ancestral string instrument used in Morocco, the word Ribab means a kind of single-stringed violin. The original name of this instrument used by the Amazigh was originally called, in the Tamazight language, the Amzad, which means 'the hair', - the string of this instrument is made of horsehair.
