Zigga, flip up "Emergency" sights integrated into the rails are the way to go. I agree that these are simply too big and I actually don't like that they move side to side, as I can see them getting easily misaligned while crawling in the dirt, etc.

Something occurred to me hours after watching this video.
When you zero it in one position is it zeroed in the other position? Probably not for one (maybe two reasons):

1. The barrel tilt upwards (giving the external ballistic arch) is only available in one position (but this is overcome by training and/or accepting it to be used in only close engagements)

2. Something tells me the height over bore changes (but again, something that can be overcome with training)

I feel like the Sidewinder II rear sight should fold in the opposite direction so that they'd be out of the way of the charging handle (or at least, less in the way).

45 degree irons are kind of a relic of the past anyways. They made sense when optics with fixed magnifications like the ACOG were common, and the micro red dot hadn't yet made it onto the market. These days, if you're running a canted sighting system, there's no reason not to put a micro red dot on it instead of irons. BUIS really only serve a purpose when they can be cowitnessed with a red dot and fold out of the way for the rest of the time, and even then they're kind of redundant if you're running a quality optic.

I will be looking for something like this, however I was wondering if there is anything a bit more low profile, that would work similarly to a pistol sights? I would use them only for a very short distance (like 25m) so I do not need it to be the best ironsight.
