Samuel suffers from cerebral palsy and cannot walk unaided, but he doesn’t let his condition stop him enjoying football and he even plays in goal for his Year 7 school team.

Samuel attends Manchester Creative and Media Academy in Blackley, a partner school of Manchester United Foundation, and was nominated by his Foundation coach to receive a series of surprises as a result of his dedication and positive attitude. Manchester United Foundation uses the power of football to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and unite the communities in which they live. Dedicated staff deliver educational and community outreach programmes to help young people make positive choices in their lives.
