Person in custody following police standoff

Officers responded to a domestic call at a trailer on Industry Street in Powhatan Point on Wednesday.
At that time, authorities said the couple inside the home refused to come out and talk, eventually talking with some relatives and officers.
A female exited the home three and a half hours after the call, but the male subject stayed inside. When the male refused to exit after attempting to negotiate, several officers found a way to get him out of the home.
