AI ads are getting creepier

MrBeast recently took to twitter to tell viewers that TikTok has been showing people a deepfake ad of him. But MrBeast isn't the only social media influencer that people are making AI ads of, as Joe Rogan of the Joe Rogan Experience and Mike Majlak of the Impaulsive Podcast are now having AI versions of them doing fake advertisements.

Check out the Timfoil Beanie, Snek Shirt, and Mugs at my store!

Now any time a politician is caught doing something on video they’ll just call it AI generated

Tiktok is the perfect place for AI ads since the people who use it are all bots anyway.

Imagine listening to a single ad, no matter who or what is pushing it.

I'm so glad I hate ads. For me, they are a cesspool of deceit, even if the ads are from credible companies.

Imagine waking up and seeing deepfakes with your face on internet, scary times. That's why I never shared pics online.

Youtube wants us to not use an ad blocker but they'll let ads like this onto the site.

It's unironically becoming easier to identify fake hand written letters over actual video-graphic footage.

It's more scary how people will use AI, than AI itself

I appreciate your concise light-hearted commentary. I am not a AI generated bot

The abuse of this AI will be a huge problem as it improves and becomes less obvious. Not only will it be used to try and "legitimize" scams, but also for even more malicious things like framing someone as a criminal and so on.

What about all the ads on YouTube trying to get people's personal information by offering them free government money

Deepfake needs to be treated the same as impersonation.
Make it a felony and increase the sentence to at least 5 years.

Deepfake technology needs to be regulated. I have suggestions, but I feel like I should make a video about it instead, even though I'm not that type of channel.

This is going to get so much worse. I called this crap happening over 10 years ago when the tech was infant. Advertisements are one thing; this tech will dominate politics, then policy, then freedom and liberty as we know it today.

Seeing how good AI Deepfakes are getting, I'm always reminded of an anime called Deadman Wonderland. The main character was accused, and with the help of an AI Deepfake video submitted into court as evidence, he was convicted of the murder of all his classmates, when in reality he was the only survivor.

Being exposed to a lot of AI now makes it easier to spot them right away, but there's still tons of people who haven't been and don't even know what AI generated content is in the first place. The Mr Beast one was terribly obvious, but others still fell for it because they don't even know what AI content is

The older I get the more I appreciate Uncle Ted and would honestly love to live in a Cabin in the woods far away from society because society is decaying hour by hour

I am baffled at how there still no regulation on AI especially on image and videos. The signs are pretty darn obvious but people are just ignoring it so they don't lose their favorite toys.

And people wonder why we artists are mad pissed about AI technology.

What is more scary than the AI ads getting more realistic is the people that believe whatever they claim.

"it's all over tik tok" immediately informs you it's fake and/or a scam
