Granted, respecting a country’s laws are valid points to make, but we must not forget to offer compassion and sympathy for Otto and the millions of other North Koreans who are suffering from inhumane treatment, similar to that of the holocaust, in concentration camps. This was a deliberate act done by this government to send a message to the U.S. Before you jump on the “he should have respected their law” excuse that NK hid behind to validate their actions, remember that this could’ve been anyone, and it is someone’s reality in that country everyday.

if you go to any country live by their rules and if you don't find them human don't go there, , and many people are saying that saying these words are like defending NK but before that ask yourself question that if NK person traveling to your country and wanted to go off-limits area that they are not allowed, does your country police is not going to arrest them..

The North Korean government was definitely in the wrong but people like that guy have to realize that there are consequences to your actions and in real life you don't get to pick the consequences and ensure their fair because what is fair to you is not fair to someone else. Now don't take this as an "excuse for them" rather their reasoning and logic as to why they did it (partially). Should they have done it? No. Should the guy have done what he did? No.
