No. Not true. We need to understand these things as it might one day be the key to survival. For that we don't understand, migh be for a new technology that is essential to our lives.

I retired in 2015. Has given me a lot to think about. Two college degrees and one MD degree. I didn’t major in physics and that’s what’s eating me. I gotta work hard for the rest of quantum theory that I left behind. Quantum mechanics as well as astronomy and cosmology.
