I saw Priest on both tours with Ripper, and was very impressed. Not many singers could step into Halford's shoes like Tim did. The whole band was on fire!

Ripper brought an angry, dark, heavier side to Priest that, in hindsight, is freeeeking amazing.

Ripper fucking rules and his voice is still as powerful today. He and KK Downing are the reason I'm throwing 5g's to go on the MORC to see KK's Priest.

It's hard to think on Judas without Rob Halford but after listening to this amazing performance by Ripper you can conclude that probably he is one of the few singers that can substitute Rob. Reminds me the same situation with Dio and Sabbath.

Though Rob is my favourite singer ever, the Metal God and the Authentic One, Ripper just pulled these songs in such an effortless way that maybe surpasses even Halford. I recently saw Ripper with the Three Tremors and he's still delivering the goods on the same high level!

I think its absolutely horrifying that there are 7 songs from this live version cut for the "proper" version. how insecure are they seriously.

i went through the songlist from the "official release" these are the songs cut, hellion... for god sake.

how can these even be considered being cut. they're amazing! the geen manilishi from 98 meltdown is better but.... its basically the same cut so...ehhhh but still. the cd would still be 2 given its 80 mins and the dvd was 93 ish. just leave it be. fuck sake. ripper is amazing! extremely underrated and very mush shit on for no reason. yeah he isnt halford. halford isnt ripper either.
i stumbled across him thanks to a download back in the day of songs. diamonds and rust. it was the london 02...which is this one 01. thanks title. i thought it was halford. nope. it was ripper. and i was too blind at the time to even notice. years later. i;m like....ripper is amazing! his solo stuff. play my game and beyond fear? absolutely amazing stuff. definitely recommend a listen to it!
