London Java Community: How to Change the World

Показать описание
"The London Java Community is a rapidly growing group of more than two thousand developers, all with their own (frequently differing) opinions and ideas. Last year the group decided to take these opinions to a global level and was lucky enough to be elected to the executive committee of the Java Community Process. Providing a single voice for that many different developers has had its challenges but has also produced successes such as the Adopt a JSR movement.
This session provides the opportunity to probe the London Java Community JCP team about some of these problems and successes, what works, and what very definitely doesn't work. And maybe you'll get the answer to "Is it worth it?""
