Lexus: How to Turn Traction Control ON & Off with Button (Non Pedal)

I show you how to turn on or off the traction control with a button on some Lexus and Toyota models. Note that some vehicles dont have a button and you need to use your pedal. I have a Lexus RX 350 but was the same way for my NX 200t and should be the same with other Lexus and Toyota models as well. Note that with some Toyota models the button is not near the center console but rather its next to the speedometer on the drivers side.

The sequence with the pedals does something completely different. Just pushing the button doesn't truly turn traction and stability control all the way off. Just pushing the button will allow slightly less invasive traction control to still persist. The trick with the pedals truly turns everything off and puts the car into Fun "you're on your own" mode.

It turns back on after a few minutes with one short press, unless you hold it down for a few seconds to keep it off.

Only needed to turn off for burnouts 🤣
