I was reading about the soldier Bill Millin who played the bagpipes during WW2.
Then I found out about the soldier Mad Jack Churchill who played the bagpipes during WW2 too, but also while charging into battle with a Scottish broadsword and a longbow.
And then I found this.

This is definitely one of the things I've seen.
