Alan Shearer still is my favorite British player of all times. I am a Juventus supporter, but always admired him, especially for when he rejected Man United and joined his boyhood club, Newcastle. And if it was not for 2 lengthy injuries, he would have passed 300 goals. Always gave 100 percent and always followed his heart. Fantastic player. A true legend.

My personal favourite goal of Shearer's was his goal in the FA cup semi final 1999 scored a belter to make it 2-0 against Tottenham to send us to Wembley for a second season on the trot ⚫⚪
