Sorry America. THIS sounds like the anthem of a Superpower.

Edit: to all of the people here continually saying "lmao it doesn't exist anymore lol"

Ok? Does that remove any of the grandeur that the song presents? Do you do the same thing with the British Anthem? Or the Romans? Would you do the same if/when the US collapses? It doesn't matter if it collapsed. The Soviets had already made their mark on history and that is reflected in their anthem.

I'm not Russian, but damn I can't deny this is among one of the best National Anthems I've ever heard. I learned of it as a meme, yes. But if you just listen to it, you can really hear the patriotism. As if like if patriotism itself was turned into a song, this is how it will sound.

The USSR cooked up one of the greatest bangers of the millenium, chilled for 69 years, and the dipped. Absolute legend.

Imagine hearing this after fighting from 1941-1945 all the way to Berlin after the surrender announcement, you'd probably scream "URAAA!" and break down into tears

Melodically the most powerful anthem in the world. What else would you expect from a nation that gave us Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and more.

My Best Friend loved this Anthem so much in my class. It was his Favourite National Anthem in Existence. Some days out of the blue he would Put This Song on Full Volume out of nowhere and the Class would of Laughed. He also liked other Songs like Red Sun in the Sky but not as much as this. Sadly Today, We founded out that He Died 1-2 Days Ago and We don't know when and We don’t how but he was The Greatest Comrade in the Class… RIP, Neema. I hope you won’t be forgotten

My grandfather was a Vietnamese officer and soldier during the war between the US and Vietnam. He was a great soldier, a typical member of the Communist Party and his love for Vietnam and the Soviet Union was probably also transmitted to me. My grandfather just passed away last night. He lived a meaningful life as a communist soldier. Rest in peace, grandpa. Communist comrades will never forget you.
