SketchUp: Section Planes Cut View and Scenes

Section Planes cut the view to see objects and shapes behind other objects in your sketch. Further more you can use Scenes to animate the cutting between the section planes.

Could you please describe how to rotate a Circle from it's default orientation, Flat; to Verticl, e ?

iam using mac su8 pro. Scene tab isnt opening. any help?
