Thank you Dr. Godfrey for giving me/us clarity and reminding me/us of the truths which are so easily forgotten in the midst of all the confusion.
I live in the Nordic countries of Europe where Lutheranism dominates, but the doctrines don't correspond with scripture. Other than that, the Pentecostal movement has captured people because of its similarities to the culture/world, unfortunately. I and many other genuine believers seek truth and wisdom, which I have found through your ministry half way around the world - this shows how desperate one is because of lack of faithful and truthful ministers here. Please keep answering questions and giving us guidance, and speaking the truth of our LORD, so that we may learn and grow and teach the rest of the flock.
God bless you all.

At 35:06 I appreciate Dr Godfrey’s comments on why do we need to go to church and sit under a pastor. I’ve seen many comments online people don’t think they need church. They don’t trust anyone because of such widespread error and heretical churches. I try to give reasons to keep trying because I personally have done so and have been blessed by finding a solid church. I wrote those suggestions down. Thanks for all you do!!!

Another great Q & A by one of my favourites...Dr. Bob Godfrey. He is so faithful to Scripture, advised by history, and has a wonderfully dry sense of humour to convey his answers with grace, wit, and clarity

Memorizing Scripture - I'd recommend the Charlotte Mason method. It's very easy and VERY effective, and it's a pleasant flow.:

1. Pick a scripture of whatever length and read it aloud daily, once (although you can do more than once if you want).
2. Once you memorize it, mark it to read every other day (M-W-F ). At the same time, pick a new scripture to read daily.
3. When the new scripture is memorized, move it to Every Other Day (T-Thu-Sat). Pick a new one to read daily.
4. When you've memorized it, move the one at Every Other Day (M-W-F) to Weekly (Monday), and the one you just memorized to Every Other Day (M-W-F). Now pick a new one to memorize.
5. When you've memorized it, move the Every Other Day (T-Thu-Sat) to Weekly (Tuesday), and the one you just memorized to Every Other Day (T-Thu-Sat). Pick a new one to memorize.
6. Keep on doing this until Weekly is full (Monday - Sunday).
7. When that's done, you shuffle one of the weeklies to Monthly (1st). After you've filled the whole month, you add a second one to Monthly (1st).

I currently have the month almost full, some with longer scriptures, and it only takes about 5 minutes a day.

I enjoyed this teaching and food for my soul. I do recommend the volume be increased by your sound crew as I had both my computer and the YouTube channel volume at full. Thank you for putting this on. Blessings.

Huh? How did the Apostles teach us to worship on Sunday? I've read anything in the Holy Bible to indicate that. Yes, there are a couple of mentions about them being together on the first day of the week but as far as I can tell, there is no specific mandate about it. Those early Jewish believers ritualistically did the weekly Sabbath thing therefore they were home resting on Sabbath and worshipfully assembling on Sunday. However what we need to remember is that the Sabbath Day and the day you pick to corporately worship are not nesecessarily the same thing.
