His line about protecting the younger ones, that's leadership right there

You should get De Gea on the show, talking about the change from Sir Alex to when he left and why he is still without a club.

Man this interview made me respect him so much more. What an elite mentality man. Look at the difference between Harry's character to someone like Sancho. Succeeding at this club for players and managers require a different level of mentality.

I Love his mentality, always makes a positive out of negatives. Makes mistakes, but he just gets on with it - he doesn't shy away, which is a huge trait to have and much needed being at united.

Definitely a captain material for the future for sure, I liked how humbled he was in this interview, the way he always tries to protect the young players, acknowledges the weaknesses in the team and takes some responsibility for bad season United had.

Representation is everything, an African goalkeeper being the number 1 at one of the biggest clubs in the world is fantastic. So proud❤️

Those 6 months were unbearable, but I'm glad he found his feet. The United shirt is awfully heavy. When you can don it with such grace, you're truly worthy. Well done, Onana

What a lovely bloke. Helping the society he lives in. He should be awarded for the work he’s done.

Fantastic bloke. Came across brilliantly. The hate this man receives is shocking. De Gea had a lot of criticism for the first 2 seasons. Give this man a chance.

What a stand up guy. They way he refers to himself and players like Bruno and McGuire protecting the youngster is outstanding.

Elite mentality! And many thanks to you Gary for remaining the voice of reason during a period where calling for the manager to be sacked is fashionable. You truly care about Manchester United and you will forever be a legend of this great football institution

From Cameroon straight to Barcelona, then Ajax, Inter Milan (Champions league final MOTM performance), and Manchester United. Top top keeper 🎉

What impressed me most about Onana was not only his awareness and understanding of his role as a team leader and community member, but also his honesty and transparency in every answer during the interview. There’s nothing that makes you second guess his intentions or meanings.
