Historic Photography: Cyanotype

Показать описание
Today Harrison will be demonstrating the cyanotype process which was invented in the 1840s and produces blue-tinted prints. In the 1870s, architects began using the process to reproduce blueprints, and it’s where we get the term from. In the 1880s, photographers started using the process as a cheap way of “proofing” their prints before doing final prints, which used more expensive chemicals containing silver and platinum. Follow along with Harrison's instructions to learn how to do it at home 📷📷📷 #HistoricArkansas #ArkansasMade
