I don’t really comment but you made a VERY good point in regards to course/fine hair and that misconception. Curly hair does NOT equal course hair, it is very possible to have fine, thin, delicate strands with curly hair, in fact, curly hair tends to be more sensitive and more prone to breakage compared to straight/wavy hair even if it is thicker. Don’t focus on the texture, focus on the strands and then you can tell whether your hair is actually course and then buy products accordingly. My own hair is more 3C, I thought because I have ‘big’ hair that’s very voluminous it meant it was course, but my hair is actually extremely sensitive to breakage and I have very thin strands.
