I went to my Sam's this morning in SW Florida. No catsup, mustard, pickles or mayo! The cereal I normally buy, Poptart's and Jiff peanut butter, all went up exactly $1. The food section was low and there were no extras on the overhead racks. There was an overabundance of non-food items, and very low supply of food/meat/dairy .

I have tried for 5 days to get dry budget cat food. Sold out, no substitutions, etc. Cat litter is very low as well.

Spices are getting empty(im sure most are stolen) Also i heard some inexpensive items that could make a world of difference if it gets to rice and beans it for gravies and sauces. Imagine being stuck with just rice and wait! I have some brown gravy and stewed tomotoes to go with that. SCORE! Lol but seriously. Edit. PNW area. Low spices and also cat food.

If I may ask what state are you I'm in southern California and although I am a prepper the stores look full. I shop discreetly and I shop every day. I wonder why southern California is not telling us to stock up. Why are we in the blind?

It's crazy I am thinking with inflation people will not buy because it is too high in cost, and it's not just the cost but shipment issues. I do hope things get better for everyone out there
