the craziest thing to me about scary pockets is these insanely talented vocalist... who are then somehow overshadowed at times by the incredible instrumentals, production and mixing. like her voice is INSANE, but i can't stop watching/listening to the drums/bass (in particular, but really it's just all of them).

I came across Julia Nunes on YouTube many years ago, a beautiful voice singing great songs to a single camera oh her bedroom, playing a ukulele with lots of charisma. Always thought she was great and I was't wrong. It's so nice to see the astonishing improvement she had. What a powerful voice! Great band performance, awesome arrangement, perfect match for Julia's super smooth vocals. Amazing!
