The new season hasn’t even aired yet and the MAFS cast are reportedly already upset with their portrayals in their official bios. Yahoo Lifestyle understands several of the brides believe they’re being “set up to be hated” by the network, all thanks to the producers’ use of certain adjectives to describe them.

While some of the brides are described as “bubbly, bright and caring”, others are referred to as “outspoken, fiery and loud with extremely high standards”, leaving those brides worried that fans will have a negative first impression of them.

A show source said, “The bios are the first real glimpse of how they're going to be portrayed and many of the cast are still living in denial, believing they were angels throughout the experiment and never did anything wrong. Even now reading how they’re described, some of them aren’t ready to have a mirror held up to them.”

They added, “There’s a group chat with many of them complaining to each other that the network is showing favouritism, accusing publicists of being ‘out to get them’, and even saying bosses are being misogynistic by how they describe the women.”
