Not Alone, Racing the High Lonesome 100

Experience Audrée’s journey as she tackles the High Lonesome 100 in Colorado, one of very few trail races working towards gender equity in ultra running. This is a story about the power of friendship and teamwork as women unite to overcome challenges in a male-dominated sport.

I love this film. Seeing Audrée run another tough race, and hearing her candid account of the experience, is great for women in the sport, as is the evident support of the men in the field for all the women running. The natural world of the event has such a strong appeal for those of us from the mountains of B.C. The wonderful community of the event, with happy, fervent support of a Canadian runner, is almost heartbreaking, given the current state of geopolitics. Thanks for this glimpse of a better world.

Hi Jeff 🙂. Another great video, another great experience. I would like to say a huge thank you. After 5 years without running in road/mountain races and 3 years less running, I ran my first race 20 days ago. It was a 50km race with 1000m of elevation gain. I did fantastic in that race.
