The amazing thing about dunkirk is there are alot of great characters but there is no real lead, every solider had its similar experience to escape dunkirk, unbelievable film

When you think how long it takes to make most movies, especially when the director is convincing you to play the role, and especially for how long they've known each other... the trust Cillian has had in him has been tremendous. Nolan is extremely talented, but this has been decades in coming to fruition.
