Terry McMillan Presents: Forever Official Trailer

In Terry McMillan Presents: Forever, Johnnie (Diggs) returns home after a tour of military service, where he’s unexpectedly met with divorce papers. With his life at a crossroads, the last thing he expected was to fall for the local policewoman Carlie (Good), who pulled him over for speeding. Determined to win her heart, his first hurdle is winning over her three daughters. In order to be the man Carlie needs him to be, Johnnie must let go of old fears and regret he’s held onto in order to find love and learn the true meaning of family.

Taye Diggs and Meagan Good star and EP the movie which will air on August 24.

What a good movie....and awesome full circle moment for Taye Diggs. He started his career with his first major role in a motion movie as Winston in Terry McMillan's, How Stella Got Her Groove now here close to 30 years later he's teamed up with Terry McMillan again this time as the leading man character (actor) AND Executive Director. Beautiful "How he started....and How it's going", full circle moment for him in his career. God is good! 🙏🏾💜🙏🏾👍🏾🥰

From what I read, the credits say Meagan is an Executive Producer for this film. What that means to me is she created an opportunity for herself, which is the best position any working actor might want to be in so, kudos to her. 👏

And for the people complaining about acting skills, umm, this is a Lifetime movie. They are not known for delivering Oscar worthy performances, just good plots and a story you can follow, which is a key reason why I love Lifetime movies, and would likely love this one as well. 😊 Good on you Terry, Meagan, and cast.

❤I love the positivity of this movie, need more movie showing more positive and less negative. All black men or black women is evil or crazy and for most of Tyler Perry movies to show this, it’s good to see Terry McMillan come back strong with a movie I will be watching. Starting over with children can be challenging, when what appears to be a healthy alignment it is bliss. Enjoyed this movie and the role of a black man being brought to light positive despite set backs of acceptance at first and all a woman to allow herself to feel wholesome

This movie is so good and so said if you haven’t saw it. Grab your tissue because you’re going to be so happy and smiling and then you gone be mad and crying. I cried my butt off. Because it’s a great example of how life is so unfair and battle after battle and you only trying to live and do right. It’s real life for sure they did an amazing job! These the movies we need.
