You shouldnt connect the external amplifier to the SPK1 and SPK2, spk1 and spk2 is the onboard amplifier, connect the external amplifier to DACR, DACL

Hello, i need help, so i am making my own real life Minecraft chest complete with its sound effects

I was planning to try this method for the sound effect, there are 2 sfx (closing and opening) and i was thinking of splitting each sfx into two (making a total of 4 mp3s sfx) so that it could play at a different phase of closing and opening.

For example: with opening sfx I want it to play the first half when i just barely opened it and the last part when it's fully opened.

Can i use magnets instead for this idea of mine?
